Bonni and Alan decided to stop in Chicago for a few days while visiting Alan's brother in Indiana. Pretty sure they (and by they I probably mean Alan) came to eat Chicago pizza and that is exactly what they did. Of all of our visitors, they have proven to be the most hardcore as they indulged in pizza for almost every meal during their two-night stay! Chicago would be proud.
Our first stop was the glass Skydeck at Willis Tower. Alan may be a fierce pizza-eating machine but he was pretty un-fierce when it came to standing on the Skydeck. Bonni decided to jump while standing on the deck which is in my opinion, insane.
Bonni and Alan had already tried Giordano's earlier in the day so we decided to try Gino's East. We sat in front of an old wedding photo and it was only appropriate that Bonni and Alan take a photo since they will be married this upcoming June! What great practice for the cake cutting portion of the reception!
The next day we made our first stop in Wrigleyville. Seeing as how Bonni and Alan are baseball fans, there was no way we could skip Wrigley Field. For their first non-pizza meal we stopped at Harry Caray's. This was my first time at Harry Caray's and I was excited to see all the Blackhawks players posted on the wall of fame.
It was a perfect day for the Architectural Boat Tour and we took full advantage of it. We even saw Sean Penn. You heard it here first, Sean Penn works for Shoreline Boat Tours during his spare time! *
*Okay, this isn't actually Sean Penn but a pretty good look-a-like!
Next stop: Millennium Park and The Bean. Check us out! Alan may disagree but this is much harder than it looks!
Of course we walked across the bridge on Michigan Avenue for Justin!
We almost ran out of time but made it to see Buckingham Fountain before sunset. Aren't they just adorable?
Our last event of the day was the Blackhawks game! We were so thrilled to have Bonni and Alan join us for some hockey while they were in town. It was a giveaway night, we went into overtime and won in the shootout and Alan got to boo Ozzy Guillen like a true northsider! And who could forget the Victory Knot?
No trip to the United Center would be complete without visiting the Michael Jordan statue. It was freezing but luckily we had our spiffy scarves!
Sadly, Bonni and Alan had to leave but we can't wait to have them return for their next visit (whenever this may be)! See you guys next month in California for some Chicago-style pizza in RIVERSIDE (and maybe a rematch of Settlers?)!!!

I'm jealous of the Michael Jordan statue photo op! Does my picture of his wax figure inside Madame Tussauds count? Doubtful. hahaha
