Nothing new to report regarding Bones and his eye issue. The vet took a look, scared me shitless with the concerned look on her face, took him to the back to consult with the other vet and came back with, well, a happy pug. She did say that the flatness of the growth most likely ruled out a tumor but gave me the option to consult an animal Ophthalmologist. Apparently the growth is attached by a small piece of membrane and she assured me that they were confident they could remove it. I am no expert but I was not about to put Bones under so they could snip away at membrane ON THE EYE because they felt fairly confident. So now we get our second opinion with a specialist and go from there.
On a less serious note, we just returned from a great trip to the beach. The dogs cooled off in the water, Bones ran himself silly, geordi chased birds and feathers in the water and the weather was somewhat bareable.
