Our first 4th of July in Chicago wouldn't have been complete without going to the fireworks show. We contemplated where we would watch fireworks since we had many options. In the end, Courtney, Joe, Justin and I ended up at the Montrose Beach. We had a later start than anticipated due to Justin and I trying to move but to our surprise, even with our late arrival, we were able to find a place to lay our blankets at the beach. We actually ended up at Montrose Dog Beach and wished we had brought the dogs. Maybe next year, we can bring the dogs out with us.
