One Out of Three Ain't Bad?

Everybody loves free giveaways. And when you invest time, money and your personal emotion into a team like the Blackhawks, free giveaways are definitely worthwhile. Justin and I have attended three giveaway nights. Patrick Kane bobblehead night was the night we took Joe to the game. We planned on getting there early to guarantee a bobblehead but with Bones' pug meetup so close to the game time, we were too late. Patrick Kane had a stellar game that night and not having a bobblehead hurt that much more.

A few weeks back, we attended Marian Hossa bobblehead night. This time, we must have just missed it because they were putting away empty boxes right as we entered the United Center. People walked around with multiple bobbleheads and we considered offering money for a bobblehead they received for free. At the end of the game, I even scanned our section in hopes that somebody left their bobblehead for me to snatch. Oh, and who was the star player of that nights game? Marian Hossa. The next day, Justin paid 40-something dollars for a Marian Hossa bobblehead online.


On Thursday night, we prepared ourselves for Troy Murray Heritage Night at the Blackhawks game. The first 10,000 fans would receive a free hat, and we were determined to succeed. We left our house with almost two hours to spare and when we entered the building, we anxiously waited to see if we had made it in time. As our tickets were being scanned, we were handed our free hat and Justin and I were thrilled! My night only got better as Cristobal Huet was named the number one star of the game!


We recently secured tickets for the remainder of the season and can't wait to see how many free things we can gather!
